The simplest AI applications can be divided into two types: classifiers (e.g., "if shiny then diamond"), on one hand, and controllers (e.g., "if diamond then pick up"), on the other hand. Classifiers[99] are functions that use pattern matching to determine the closest match. They can be fine-tuned based on chosen examples using supervised learning. Each pattern (also called an "observation") is labeled with a certain predefined class. All the observations combined with their class labels are known as a data set. When a new observation is received, that observation is classified based on previous experience.[45]
An artificial neural network is based on a collection of nodes also known as artificial neurons, which loosely model the neurons in a biological brain. It is trained to recognise patterns; once trained, it can recognise those patterns in fresh data. There is an input, at least one hidden layer of nodes and an output. Each node applies a function and once the weight crosses its specified threshold, the data is transmitted to the next layer. A network is typically called a deep neural network if it has at least 2 hidden layers.[105]
A platform that provides repository of datasets, models and use cases to enable AI innovation. It also features AI sandbox capabilities through an integrated development environment along with tools and tutorials.
Roles include Explorers, Contributors, and Organization Administrators, each with specific privileges as below.
Each artefact (dataset, model, or other resource) in AIKosh is governed by specific permission settings that define usage rights. The available options are as below:
ActiveCampaign aims for simplicity on its FAQ page. The page is straightforward and lists their most common questions that, when clicked, reveal a dropdown answer. The answers provided are concise and straight to the point so that customers do not have to spend a lot of time looking for an answer on this page. Everything is clearly laid out on one single page.
Navigating through the Whatfix FAQ page is incredibly intuitive. Questions are separated into categories by sleek dropdown menus. You can view all questions within a category by clicking the appropriate link, which takes you to a separate page with detailed answers. And there’s a search bar at the top of the page to help users zero in on the specific information they’re looking for.

Every user needs to first register as an explorer on the platform. The organization registration is then facilitated by Entity Locker. If the organization is already registered with Entity Locker, on the Explorer Dashboard, you can raise a request to create an organization by clicking on “Raise request”. Then log in via Entity Locker using Aadhar credentials and proceed to provide organization details to gain access to the Organization Admin Dashboard.
If the organization is not yet registered with Entity Locker, an authorized representative must first complete the Entity Locker registration. Upon approval, the entity is onboarded to Entity Locker. The user then returns to AIKosh and registers as an organization as explained in first paragraph.
For a step-by-step guide on the registration process, please refer the user manual on the platform.
Only contributors are allowed to upload datasets on AIKosh, subject to verification from the organization admin and platform admin.
Only contributors are allowed to upload models on AIKosh, subject to verification from the organization admin and platform admin.
Security is a top priority at AIKosh. The platform utilizes National Single Sign-On (SSO) for login and authentication.Role-based and permission-based access controls are implemented to regulate access to artefacts. Additionally, encryption is applied to both data at rest and data in transit. Advanced security settings are enabled in the firewall to prevent malicious activities, protecting the portal and its content.
